XP Battery Icon

Hi,

I this is the first time ive really used XP Pro on a laptop with a battery. Now, when running off the battery the icon in they system tray stays at whatever percent it was at when the computer booted up. if i mouse-ove it it shows the correct amount of time and amount of battery left, but the actualy icon doesnt seem to update. Is there any way to change this? maybe through the registry?
