ferretttt Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I have just set up a domain for a friend, which I volunteer my time for.I am able to log in to the domain as a user, but when I try to browse the network or map drives, I can get to Microsoft Windows Network -->RACSB (the name of the domain) and then I get the message "RACSB is not accessable . . . "I have tried to reset the computer account and then delete the computer from Active Directory, but no help.I know I am missing something, but im not sure what.
Hamins Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Hi,I take into consideration that you have added the computers as Domain Members. If everything else is fine, then it might be a per seat licensing issue.
ferretttt Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 I have the CALs for the PCs, but I wouldnt think I need to install anything for that. All of the servers are OK, and I can RDP into the DC and log on as, say, myself and have no issues.
nmX.Memnoch Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Stupid question but I'll ask anyway... The workstation is joined to the domain, right?
cluberti Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 What servers are your WINS and DNS settings configured to use on the workstation?

It's probably not a licensing issue if you got a generic error message.
