How to make "Common Task Panel" Auto Hide, just like u set ur taskbar to Auto Hide

and how to set icons to "arrange by type" and i need the registry hacks to do these.......

for the icons -

Open any explorer window , Set up the view as you like , go to folder options , and in the view tap , select apply to all folders. This is what you wanted.

regarding common task folder , do you mean the comman task panel in the left of the default XP theme? well i guess XP does not support it!! Windowblinds may do that , but i have never heard of it!!
