[Help] - remote desktop - remote assitance

how do i set up remote desktop on my pc that i can log into it and get files and so on f i am out of town..

i am, all lost ..

how do i set my pc up so i can log into it through another pc while i am away!!!

i really need help

if sumbody can help me .. i need details. i am dumb ..
