orben
Hi,I'm writing a program at work, which combines all kinds of helpdesk features. One of them is SMS.First of all, when a pc number is entered, the information (IP and so on) is downloaded from a webpage. When the user presses the "Start SMS" button, the remote.exe tool is triggered with the appropriate options. However: about 30 of the 4000 computers here are special, and their IP address is not available on that webpage. Trying to take over these computers via my program is thereby impossible. If I try the netbios name (which I DO have) option from the command line (remote.exe 3 ...) it won't work either. So my question is: does SMS provide a command line tool to query the SMS resource ID of these computers? I have their name used the SMS database. This way I could use: remote.exe 0 <RESOURCEID>Any help is appreciated EDIT: Preferably without installing new software Edited February 17, 2006 by orben
