LH 4074 error

I've decided to go back to early LH builds now as the latest 5*** just don't feel as good as they could do. So I got out my 4074 dvd (my Fav!) and now when I try to install it (from DVD or Windows) it does the text (Loading Windows PE) flashed the longhorn loading screen then gives me a BSoD saying Memory Parity error - the system has been halted.

It happens every single time, so am I doomed never to use 4074 again?

Is your RAM working properly? Use Memtest86 to check it.
