I have a small workgroup with 4 PCs. 2 - XPMC, 1 - XP Home, and 1 - XP Pro. I am having issues seeing all of the PCs on the network. Some days everything works great, but most of the time, I am unable to see the XPMC PCs, and they are unable to see the others. I ping around by IPs, and eventually I am able to see all of the PCs. What can I do to resolve this issue. The IPs are set static, no firewalls are enabled, all of the PCs are in the same workgroup, no viruses or spyware can be found.

Do you have DHCP enabled on your network? If so, make sure you aren't assigning those computers IPs that are in the DHCP server's list of IPs to give out.

All PCs are setup static.
