OUtlook 2003 Takes time to receive mail

Hi,

It takes time to receive mail. i need to click on the inbox/sent items contantly so that i can receive mail quick.

if i send a mail to myself, i do not receive it immediately, it takes time, again if i click on the inbox/sent then i receive it.

usign exchange server.

Plz help.

In the Profile settings turn off "Use Cached Exchange Mode".

Also, in Outlook Options (Tools -> Options) be sure to turn on "Send immediately when connected" on the Mail Setup tab.

I've done that, but its still the same .

I'll remember to take a look at my Outlook setup on my work machine. The two guys I work with are always complaining about having to hit Send/Recieve but mine is always immediate.
