Not sure if this is the best spot to place the thread but I think it is. Anyway I am in the process of trying to create an unattended setup, and I created the $OEM$ folders like this site guides you too, and tested the iso on a virtual machine and created a batch file to install some apps. Well in the middle of the GUI setup when its actually installing windows, It launches my batch file and can not find the apps I wanted to install.

So after it is all done, I looked in the C drive and nothing in my $OEM$ folders were copied to the disk. Something I did wrong? Also when during the install is it supposed to copy the $OEM$ folders to the disk? During the text based part at the beginning of during the GUI part?

Thanks for any input :)

Hm well I just saw another topic saying OemPreinstall is set to yes but in my winnt.sif has it set to no, that might just be the solution.

Place them in a directory named $1 inside of the $OEM$ dir. ;) That will place the files on your %SystemDrive%. (Root of drive where windows is installed).

You can also use $$ as a directory of files that should go into your %WinDir% directory (Windows).

cmdlines.txt would be placed in $OEM$ if you are using it.
