Hi, I was just wondering what program do I use to apply PNG icons to replace the standard Windows XP icons? I tried IconX, IconPackager & Axilias Icon Workshop but all failed to apply PNG icons to Windows XP. So anyone can help me out with this one???

You cannot apply png icons to windows, you got to convert them into windows icons, Icon Workshop does a great job.

After conversion the quality/image size is not the same as the original PNGs? Is there a software to preserve the output the same as the output?

But what i know: IconX can apply PNGs to shortcuts...
