fursink Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 When slipstreaming an XP to a ne SP level, does the new install still accept he original serial number? IE, I have an XP Pro SP0, which I slipstreamed to SP2...Will the original serial number for my SP0 still be accepted? May be obvious, but I didn't want to get into the install to find out I'm wrong.
Lazy8 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Use your original CD key after slipstreaming. It will be accepted with the service pack installed.
