I checked through the forums and couldn't find any information on Slipstreaming Small Business Server with SP1 complete, i.e exchange, etc..

I was told that it couldn't be done because of the components within SBS.

Is this true?

i would think becuase of all the different additions that SBS has, that slipstreaming would not be possible, so am gonna go with a no on this one

The first sbs cd is basically a windows 2003 cd with a wizard that runs on startup so I think that windows 2003 updates can be slipstreamed with no detrimental effect.

SBS 2003 has its own SP1 separate from that of Server 2003 Ent. or Std. etc. You can download it from MS and it should integrate the way others do.

Check it out and try it in a VM. Should not take up a lot of time.

Yes, CD1 can have SP1 for SBS2003 integrated.

The other CDs (exchange,SQL,ISA,etc) can also have updates either slip-streamed, or hotstream (updates installed after setup & considered as part of main app when removing/adding features) them.

So would i create a slipstream install and the just slipstream each individual update one by one until they are done? Then once burned to a disc it will have full install?
