combination of wired + wireless

hi all,

just sat here bored and wondered what would happen if i used both my wireless card and my NIC to connect to my home router?

i could have the wireless with an ip of 192.168.1.4

and my NIC could have 192.168.1.3

any thoughts on what might happen? possible benefits if any?

They cant be teamed so there is no redundancy benefit, the only thing I can see is that you will have the possibility of slower internal network speeds.

hmm, what would happen however if i bridged them? would it create some sort of crazy loop and blow my pc up? lol
