AlZip Silent Install

Featured Replies

I've created a silent installer for AlZip, which I prefer due to its speed, versatility, and ability to create .CAB files. However, at the end, the preferences window pops up, and despite numerous attempts at bypassing it, I've been unable to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Actually, that is the switch I use, but the Preferences window still pops up during the T-13 stage of installation. It doesn't actually halt the installation, it's just annoying and I was wondering if anyone had a solution for it.

Here's the line of my batch script for AlZip:

ECHO

ECHO Installing AlZip

ECHO Please wait...

start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\AlZip\AlZip.exe /VERYSILENT /SP-

Still not resolved.

Thanks for the help.

It's been awhile since I posted this request, and interestingly enough, no one seems to have an answer. I know it can be done since an older version was posted at the old nLite forums some time ago which installed with no Preferences window afterwards.

Anyone have an answer?

Thanks.

I just let it install and run a .cmd file with 'taskill' to kill the alzip.exe
