WSUS on windows 2000 slight problem

hi all i have setup a win 2k server with all the updates on, i have installed msde2000a and .NET framework 1.1 and when i run the wsussetup.exe i get the following error:

"ms wsus server setup cannot continue...

- you must install a version of microsoft .NET framework 1.1 no earlier than service pack 1"

since i have .NET 1.1 installed i cannot understand why im getting this error. can anyone help please?

There is a .Net Framwork SP1 from microsoft

.Net Framwork 1.1 SP1

try updating with this and see if it will go through

oh i was unaware that there was a service pack 1 for .NET, lol

WU/MU would've shown that as a critical update.

hmm, ill try this 2moro when i get back to the office and post on here and let you know, but from the error message (and yes i should have red it more carefully!) it does sound like it needs .net sp1
