Nero 7 Shell Manager error

Featured Replies

The Nero 7 I installed on my computer (after a month working just fine) begun to present troubles. The Nero Showtime would freeze the Explore windows everytime you clicked on an video file. The Nero Burning Rom was not burning properly, resulting in misburned discs.

Well, I tried to uninstall the program and found it was impossible to do so. I kept receiving the answer: "Shellmanager database is corrupt or missing" and the uninstall operation would close.

I searched the web for similar problems but found only german sites - which I can´t read

Even the Restore Points didn´t help.

Could someone help, please. I am trying to avoid the headache ridden format operation. :(

There is a way.

GO to this website. http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/us/Clean_Tools.html

Install this program. This is a nero cleaning tools that will remove all things nero.

I used this. After you do this it will require a reboot.

Then, reinstall the nero program.

All will be well.

I was desperate for a solution as you, so I feel obligated to pass on this solution.

All I ask is that you do unto others with this solution. It took me weeks for the solution.
