Help installing Citrix without the "program agent"

I need to install Citrix, but don't want the Program Agent part of the program installed. Any ideas on how to do this?

the program agent, is it just something that autostarts?

cant you just delete the shortcut from the startup folder after installation?

EDIT - After taking a closer look at the distributed msi package, I realized you're probably talking about alot more than a just a shortcut.

Here's an editted msi for you to try. Citrix Access Client package 4.1

This msi can be installed using the /passive switch. It will no longer reboot the computer.

Editting an msi is often complicated.

Here is an MST which you can apply to future releases of citrix.

To see what i've done, compare the original msi to this mst.

Hmmm, that still installed the program agent for me. I just used the .MSI with the /passive switch.

Upon Installation, it will showup in the systray, after a reboot, its gone. The program was meant to reboot before being functional, i removed the reboot for unattended installs.

I assume that you want to install Citrix ICA Client. The full package contains

Program Neighborhood

Program Neighborhood Agent

Web Client

download the Citrix Presentation Server Client Packager - Version 9.150 from this link;

Msi file is called ica32pkg.msi.

by writing msiexec.exe /a ica32pkg.msi will start an administrative installation of the package where you can choose which components to be installed and other options. At the end of the wizard, you can save the package as a new msi file.
