Recorded Image quality

Using Nero Ultra 7 to put several years worth of VHS camcorder tapes on to DVD. After many hours have all the video "captured." Made 1st DVD but images are "jittery" when there is a lot of motion. Images are fine when played directly from the file on the hard drive. Can this be eliminated and if yes how? thanks in advance for any help. MArk in MN
