DRuSE Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Hi,I have recently tried to use one of those direct x removal tools to remove direct x (from memory was 9) to install earlier version. Reason for this was that I had been having troubles with screen flickers when I try and watch a video. Before I had time to reinstall old one the computer got restarted and then I could not get past the load screen. I think all I need to do is reload Direct X though I can't as I can't get access to Windows Desktop. I was wondering if someone knew how to install direct X when the computer boots up from the start? Thanks AnthonyTitle Edited - Please follow new posting rules from now on.--Zxian
atomizer Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 hmmm... can you get into safe mode?if so, you should be able to install from there.if not, you could do a repair or parallel install.or you could wait until someone more knowledgeable replies
