After I reboot the server, unable to login. It returns the error message " A problem is preventing windows from accurately checking the license for this computer. Error Code: 0x800703e6"

Anyone knows how to fix it. Even I can't login to the local admin. Please advise.


Did you install anything recently? Are you running Server 2000 or 2003?

I believe you can login as Administrator if you start up the computer in Safe Mode. Press F8 repeatedly as the computer is booting up and choose Safe Mode from the list that appears. This is only a temporary fix.

I didn't install anything. I tried to login in safemode, then server was restarted. It's back to normal. Still don't know the reason. Anyway, it's better to reinstall the server. Thanks a lot.
