Two Office 2003 related questions

Hi!

2 problems:

1. How can i disable Excel 2003 Error control "Numbers saved as text"?

2. In Outlook 2003 there is something in danish called Notatformat (Note format i believe in english). However in the note format all margins are by default set to 0mm which gives problems when printing. I need to change all margins in note format to 13mm... any ideas?

Go to office.microsoft.com and download the Office resource kit for your version of Office. You'll find all of the settings you'd like to change in either the Custom Installation Wizard (to set the options during install) or the Custom Maintenance Wizard (to change options on an installed version of Office).

You recomended these tools to me before and I have used them alot

However specificly these two options I am unable to find in the CMW tool.

Maybe Im just blind if you can see it in there?

Ah - that may very well be. However, since these settings are likely stored somewhere on disk or somewhere in the user's registry hive, try running filemon and regmon (both from www.sysinternals.com) when making these changes, one at a time, to see what is being changed in the registry or on the disk. You can likely export any registry changes if the changes are stored there, or see what files you'll need to modify if the changes are stored somewhere on the filesystem.

It's pretty low-tech, but it should work without too much trouble.
