Spy Axe

I wonder if anyone heard of SpyAxe.

It's so annoying as my Norton Anti-Virus software has expires.

Whenever I on my PC it'll have this pop-up hanging at the bottom right hand corner even if I'm not online.

My eyes goes 'coz the screen flashes when I'm playing games.

It's has the msg "Your computer is infected"

Dangerous malware infection was detected on your PC.

.......

It's required me to buy the antimalware as it stated that Norton was not a supported ware to prevent / remove the virus...

Anyone know about this Spy Axe, pls give some advice.

Yes I have heard about this nasty thing....... my son managed to infect my Laptop!! Basically it is a con to get you to buy their software!!!

I found this http://malwareremoval.com/plog/index.php?blogId=3 and I clicked on the links to find the information to remove it.

edit.... Perhaps a Mod could move this post to the Malware section.

i fixed someones pc who had this before!!! remove the **** thing!! spyaxe is one huge con!

SpyAXE is a very nasty piece of malware. It can hurt your computer if you don't remove it. I have tried the removal instructions on bleepingcomputer.com quite a few times (I own a computer repair business) and have never once had a problem. You really need to get rid of it.
