MCE 2k5 Remote Control

I have a new Toshiba Equium M40x and I installed MCE 2005 on it rather than use XP Home.

It does have a built in IrDA port BTW.

Right, what I have is an Xbox360 Premium and it came with the mini media remote. I am led to believe the full size remote will work on both the 360 and MCE, so is the mini remote the same?

And, if it does do I need any extra software to get it working as it doesn't seem to be doing much as it is

you can use xbox360 remote controller on MCE2005 PC, just need a Infrared Receiver for MCE2005,,not built in IrDA port

Does anyone have a link to a certain type of dongle? Does it have to be MCE specific or will it work with any IR dongle?

I've seen this: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw...5&category_oid= but not sure whether it will do the job (and it's goddamn expensive too!).
