it keeps sayin temporarily unavailable wen i try to log on, doin my head in, i av 2 msn (people icons) on my toolbar, and the old one works fine, i have xp too. is there sum special software i need to make it work or something. !!!!!

Do you have Service pack 1?? If not you can download the english version here: WinXP SP1a for Home/Pro ... You should also install the latest .NET framework: .NET Framework 1.1 Redist

You should also check if your firewall (if you have one) is blocking the outgoing and ingoing conections.

the XP problem is simple really,

there are some fixes that helped: (if they don't hey, I don't know all the fixes)

1 - - check if your systemclock is configured correctly (correct time and date)

2 - w00t - replace the msn 5 files with the msn 6 files

3 - - repair your XP (it cleans out some wrong entries in the register that a regclean program can't loacte)
