this is my second time asking here for this topic and someone replied to my quastion early 2005 but I can not find it.

anyway, anyone knows where (which directory) those hotfixs from Windows Update website saved before patch itself to system directory?

The uninstall files are saved in the C:\Windows and have a hidden attribute and usually have a folder name of the KB Hotfix.

thank you for your reply, But this is not what I want, it should be something like this %system + bla...bla...

I am keep thinking to remind myself but I can not remember it at all that's why I am here to get help.

I want to know download directory for Windows Update hotfixs what I mean is when we update hotfixs from

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ I am sure it saved somewhere it's own temp directory before patch

itself.

ok guys I got it, I posted in some other forums and I got my answer.

Strat > Run > type :

%systemdrive%\windows\SoftwareDistribution

click ok

^^Great - that's exactly what I needed to know since Microsoft Update was installling a driver the manufacturer didn't have.
