Guest She-li Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Hey there, I'm a newbie and still somewhat computer challenged. I have XP Home. I have WMedia 10 (I think). I have DVD+R DL and DVD R/RW and of course CD ReWritable. I can play a DVD. I can't burn a DVD. Why oh why? Clicking on "help" in anything I do on my computer, NEVER helps. Thank-you and again Hello All.

phatcat42141 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 I've tried Win Media Player and Nero.Personally I like "Roxio Easy CD/DVD creator 7.5" I haven't had a problem with it yet.
Guest Havoc Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 What are the properties of the DVD drive ???Right click on the drive in my computer | click properties | click recording tabYour are looking to see if CD recording is on.??? Will the drive burn a CD-R ???
ripken204 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 i beleive that you dont have a dvd burner. you have a combo drive which will burn cds and play dvds but wont burn dvds. if you can provide us with the model of your burner then that would help very much, otherwise there is nothing that we can rly do.
