[Help] How to recover My Computer's category view

For some reason My Computer is no longer showing its category view, with the Files Stored on This Computer title and category divisions missing. The folder and driver icons are just listed alphabetically (including the shared document folders at the bottom).

The category view should be like this:

I've searched this forum without luck (not surprised) and Google.

I do have this reg key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\

Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders

It also happened on another XP and System Restore corrected it. But I want to know where the fault is. I'm lost how to reset it. Any ideas please, thanks.
