[Question] - Add a "screensaver on" button to quick launch b

Back in the old days when I used Office 98 there was an office toolbar, and one of the optional buttons on it was one that activated the screen saver. Is there a way to add a button to the Windows XP quick launch bar (in other words a desktop icon) that will activate my screen saver? If it makes any difference I am using Office 2003, but it should be a Windows thing.

FYI my screen saver is password protected and it just looks better than simply locking my desktop.

try this. find your *.scr screensaver filename. drag it to your quicklaunch bar/make a shortcut to it.

when you click on it, the screensaver should activated.

And after you create a shortcut to it, you can also right click the icon, pick properties and set a short cut key (ex: CTRL + ALT + S)

Of course why don't you just lock your machine? (WinKey-L)
