ateamray Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I have been using Nlite to make an unattended CD.So far I have figured everything out by searching the forums and using the guide.I have obviously changed a setting that I can't figure out where to change it back. It is strictly cosmetic. When loging on to windows XP (or loging of or shutting down) the blue welcome screen describes every program that is being run. I know I changed something but can't figure out what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for a reg tweak that will show the Control panel in My Computer.TIA
druiddk Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Just so I understand this correctly:You changed something and now it no longer lists the programs running on the welcome screen?
ateamray Posted December 13, 2005 Author Posted December 13, 2005 Actually I changed something and I see everything as it runs on the blue logon logoff screen where as before it just did the deed without reporting it.
kandurak Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 You have set the Logon / Shutdown Verbose status to 1. Hence you see everything that is being run during logon/shutdown.Reset it to 0. You won't see any verbose messages.Refer the following linkhttp://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/1136/
ateamray Posted December 13, 2005 Author Posted December 13, 2005 Thanks for the help and for that link.Extremely appreciated
