Say I have an address like "optemistic.com" but instead of the browser going to "optemistic.com", it gets redirected to a file in the hard drive (like c:\web page\page.html). How would I go about doing that? I'm doing this on WinXP Pro.


Assuming you use Windows IIS, Open IIS, right click on the deault web and select virtual web site. point it to the location you want to.
