Putting a Hyperlink into a Word Document

Recommended Posts

I am using Word 2000.

1. I have a link called www.kodakgallery.com

2. I want to put the following code into my word document but have the display name say either www.kodakgallery.com or Kodak Gallery.

<a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-1823331-10296033?cm_ven=CJ&cm_cat=1653155&cm_pla=1823331&cm_ite=Kodak+EasyShare+Gallery" target="_top" >Kodak EasyShare Gallery</a><img src="http://www.ftjcfx.com/image-1823331-10296033" width="1" height="1" border="0">

3. I went to the hyperlink section of Word and inserted this code under the 'Type the file or web page name' area but it doesn't work correctly.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks.

Debbie

All you need to insert is

http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-1823331-10296033?cm_ven=CJ&cm_cat=1653155&cm_pla=1823331&cm_ite=Kodak+EasyShare+Gallery

** Do not insert the entire html code, just teh web address. That should solve your problem. **

If you're trying to attach a link to an image, insert the image using from the Insert menu, then attach the hyperlink to it (not the entire html code--just the url).
