a noob whos wiiling to move to xp64,

- i need some help in here ! pls

so im trying to Slipstream "sp2" into "win xp 64 pro build 1830"

m i missing a point or smthing ? do i need sp2 for that xp64

what do i need exactely to make it up to date ! please a really wana make that cd : i dont wana run into a that "at leats 3 hours" windows installation, update, drivers, tools and finaly the software , actually days not hours.

anyway if i can get that cd up , that will be great at leats it will save me sm times.

x64 is based on win2k3

so SP1 is the latest which u already have (build 1830)

You dont need to slip-stream XP's SP2 or Svr2k3's SP1 - as both of those are for 32-bit OSes.

The 64-bit version of XP & Svr2k3, already has it both.

Windows XP 64 has SP2 integrated.

Concerning hotfix and patch, WinXP64 has it's own patch (not the same that Windows XP SP2 (32 bits))

Right now there is no service pack for x64. Here is what you want:

That's a pre-SP2 package, basically just hotfixes so there will be less to install from windows update after install. But yea current service pack built with x64 is SP1 and it should be that way, no SP2 exists.
