I need help configuring my wlan.

this is how was thinking of having it:

adsl modem -----> computer nic1 , (internet connection sharing to nic2) computer nic2 -----> ordinary lan switch -----> wlan accesspoint.

this setup for both lan computers to be able to hook up to the switch and get internet and lan.

Now, i have a few computers hooked up to the switch among others an xbox.

the accesspoint would deliver lan/wlan and internet to 2 desktop computers with wireless adapters and one laptop computer.

what are the settings i should use for the wireless part?

the accessspoint is an Dlink DWL-G700AP

and dlink network cards for all wireless devices.


Make it easy.. get yourself a wireless router/access point. I will have switch ports on it for hard wired use.
