I have another problem with my unattended setup, it won't take the display settings from winnt.sif.

It looks like this:

[Display]

XResolution=640

YResolution=480

BitsPerPel=16

VRefresh=60

AutoConfirm=1

ConfigureAtLogon=1

Ive tried different settings, also without autoconfirm or configure at logon.

Now the biggest problem is not that the resolution is not set, that can be fixed by some other executable.

But i want to get rid of the popup that windows XP will set the display settings correct at the logon.

This should be disabled by Autoconfirm = 1.. But that's also not working.

Any ideas?

i would try different settings as those are the default if you graphics card drivers are not installed correctly.

then i would check your graphics card drivers are applied and if not applied, apply and you should be ok

I have tried different settings, but none of them work.

The graphics driver is not slipstreamed, so it is nog installed. (is it required to be installed for this to work?)

If windows detects that it has loaded the default VGA driver (or the Microsoft-supplied driver for your video card) and the display is less than 800x600, you WILL get this display. If you are installing your video drivers in OemPnpDriversPath (or Windows already has a driver for your card), try setting your resolution to 800x600 at 32 bits. As long as a Microsoft-supplied or 3rd-party video driver is installed, this resolution will result in no display message.

using oempnpdrivers in winnt.sif. Also 800X600 is the lowest res

they supported. But don't know if that was the drivers or windows.

Also had success integrating them with nlite.

Oke, ill think about integrating the drivers.

But imo the drivers for a vga card are updated to often to integrate, it would mean i have to update the cd so often .. And my cd will be used on lots of pc's so it wouldn't be usefull to integrate just 1 driver..
