uvmain
two ways i guess, maybe three..1/ install msn, res hack the exe to show no search, take the hacked exe and stick in your $OEM$ folder2/silently install something like Glass which deletes the adverts and allows for other customizations3/google for a reg entry, and stick this into your cmdlines.txt .. tho i have no idea about this one, it's just a guess hope this helps! OliverMaltby
Juzman, any chance of you uploading that repackaged version of MSN?
tarquel
I doubt it, considering that modifying the exe and releasing it publicly would bring Microsoft down on the person doing it with great vengance most likely So i wouldnt recomend it RegardsN. Solid as a rock
Juzman, any chance of you uploading that repackaged version of MSN? Do it by yourself. patch your MSN, and look at the directory of msn(\programfiles\msn messenger) and look which files are renamed to .backup. that are the orginal files, so you grab the patched files and rar it in a SFX installer and excute it after the unattended install of MSN....I edited the MSI itself, and repacked it with a lot of things taken out from MessPatch, MSN Messenger 7.5.0311 installs with:*SNIPPED*Created By Juzmanyour post is really needles without telling how you had do this... Juzman
I did what SolidasRock said, except used MaSaI installer to edit the original MSN .msi file, that way it has the same installer interface, except install's pre-patched.
