i wanna by a new athlon 64 computer :thumbup but i want my windows with all the softwares and settings to be moved to the new computer.yeah i know that this is not normaly possible cause of hardware diffrences.

so is there any way i can do that? if there is please guide me step by step or link me to a document for that.

You could use the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. There's plenty of information about this feature in Windows Help.

I've had hit or miss luck with the files and settings transfer wizard, and I don't believe that would transfer your software either.
