Zxian Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Like the title says, I'm having problems with this. When I try to send the message, I get an error:There is no such member - please check the name entered and try again. This personal message has not been sentI don't think this is a problem with IPB 2.1.3 per se, so I made a separate thread.
Martijn Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 (edited) You mean people with for instance the TM in their names?I never tried it to be honest...Edit: ah, yes, I didn't see the topic description...Edit2: did you try to use html codes instead? (like &...; or something?) Edited November 15, 2005 by Martijn
prathapml Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Non-standard characters for sitename, username, password, etc. works fine for me on Opera 8.50.
Zxian Posted November 21, 2005 Author Posted November 21, 2005 Nope... I still can't send a PM to Ðrзω™.See Screenshot - Opera 8.50
prathapml Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Sure you haven't disabled Unicode support, in windows? And just to be sure, try the same as above, using Opera 8.50 from linux as well.
Zxian Posted November 21, 2005 Author Posted November 21, 2005 I'm on a Windows 2000 workstation with fairly strict GPOs set.... I don't have much power here. I'll have to try it on my laptop (XP Pro) and then from Linux in VMware. I'll let you know how it goes.
