jolyon Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Hi All I have a client who is running a Windows 2003 Terminal Server in a Windows 200SBS Domain.They also have a windows 2000 terminal server and it seems fine.The issue i am having is Windows 2003 server is saying 'Can't find a windows 2003 Terminal server licence server'Does anyone know how to overcome this issue, or am i going to have to change this back to a win200 server?Thanks in advance
chilifrei64 Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Have you installed terminal server licensins on the SBS via add remove components..once you install that you need to open up the licensing management mmc and add your licenses..Let me know if we have made it this far before i go into further detail
cluberti Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 The error message is telling you exactly what is wrong. You will need to install a license server on a Windows Server 2003 machine to service your Windows Server 2003 TS. You can, however, install the licensing server component on the same server as the TS from add/remove Windows components.
