Installation of Win2000 on notebook

Hello there,

I hope someone will help. I am doing a clean install of Win2K on my Compaq Presario 1625 (it s a dinosaur) so i can use it as one of my home network devices. I made 4 bootable diskettes and I have a retail Win2000 CD. It When I inserted the first diskette , after checking the hardware it came up with this error message:

"INF txtsetup.sif is corrupt ot missing. Setup cannot continue. Please press any key to exit"

I need help please.

few questions:

• From what source did you create ur, bootdisk..
  
• doesn't your bios support cd-boots?
  
• have you tried bootdisk.com
