azagahl
I have a "Samsung Yp-55" - a portable hard drive / digital music player. It's not working under a fresh install of Win 2K SP4, with USP5.0SR1.I have a VIA motherboard and the latest VIA USB 2.0 drivers installed. This doesn't help. Also I installed the Yp-55 drivers. I try to select either USB Mass Storage drivers and Yp-55 drivers, or try to select driver files manually; but it keeps claiming that the best drivers are c:\winnt\drivers\usb.inf. Changing the inf dates doesn't fool it into thinking they are better. Whenever I try to change the drivers it wants a reboot but the device always has a question mark on it when it boots up. It says something like the device failed to start. The application for stopping attached devices starts up when I insert the device, but it also shows a yellow question mark next to the device. So far I've been having to boot into Windows 98 SE to use this device.Any ideas? cluberti
Are there drivers for the device under Windows 2000? I have a few Creative Webcams that work in 98 and NT4, but not 2000 or higher.
