GST1 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 (edited) Hi Guys, I hope this post isn't redundant, I searched but could not find the information I needed. I am trying to backup the system state on several PC's here at work. On some of the PCs there is no problem, but on others there is no option to backup the system state. When I run the backup using a command line script it Executes the backup and immediatley exits. All are running Windows XP Professional, although some are SP1 and others are SP2. Could the problem be that SP1 does not support System State backup and SP2 does? Has anyone had this problem, if so what can be done short of moving all of the PCs to SP2. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Gary Edited November 3, 2005 by GST1
Takeshi Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 The option to backup System State should work for XP Gold, SP1 and SP2, from my experience. I've been using it all along in different setups.
