rickmusicman1961 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 can anyone help me with my daughters c.d rom,,,her computer is a pen 111 with a mind of its own it seems,,,i formated her hard drives with xp. ran windows 98,,,,instaled it,,,and cannot get the c.d rom to work,,,the computer does not see it,,and im not shure how to get it back into operation. thanks rick in montreal.
wizardofwindows Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 (edited) rick go into bios at start of booting u no setup and go to boot order or whatever put everything on auto detect and make sure the cdrom is pinned to be a slave there be a pin diagram on cdrom case.if all else fails set bios to default value save and reboot good luck.
