Spring Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 (edited) I had to delete file SVCPACK.INF from folder I386 in order to be able to integrate the service pack (learned from the web site of TACKtech Corp.: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=313). Its content:[Version]Signature="$Windows NT$"BuildNumber=2600MajorVersion=5MinorVersion=1[SetupData]CatalogSubDir="i386\svcpack"[ProductCatalogsToInstall]sp1.cat[SetupHotfixesToRun]Q816981.EXE /q /n /zQ811789.EXE /q /n /zQ815485.EXE /q /n /zQ816982.EXE /q /n /zQ329909.EXE /q /n /zQ329048.EXE /q /n /zQ816979.EXE /q /n /zQ327979.EXE /q /n /zQ331953.EXE /q /n /zQ328213.EXE /q /n /zQ813862.EXE /q /n /zMy question: Did I lose something, should I put this file back to the integrated I386 folder? Or I do not need these SP1 files because SP2 already has them? (I still have the SVCPACK.DL_ file in there though...)Appreciate any help. - Spring._ Edited October 28, 2005 by prathapml

prathapml Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Hi spring.Welcome aboard msfn forums! As said above, this is a technical topic that needs to have been posted in the right section.Anyways, you did not lose anything. What you did with the svcpack was right - you dont need any of those, SP2 already has all that.
