Unable to share printer if 'guest' account has password

I have a XP Home SP2 machine that shares files and a printer with a Mac 10.2 using Samba. File and print sharing works fine unless I give the guest account a password (which is what security tutorials say to do). Once the guest account has a password, only file sharing works. The Mac can read files by logging in as a user or guest with the correct password. However, the Mac can't print even when using the correct username and password. On the Event Viewer I see a failed login attempt -- it tells me the username or password is incorrect. However this is not true. Once I remove the password from guest, the you can print using the same command on the Mac.

Anyone know how print with a guest account password?

Here is the command on the Mac:

smb://GUEST:mypw@MYPC/LASERJET

Thanks,

Chris
