Associate an application with a file type

I have got problem with Real Player Files (example: rm, ram,rmvb,---etc) first they were opend by real player program , when I installed Nero, the files has been changed to nero's skin (associated with nero).

Then I tried to default them by doing the following steps in this link:

It did not work.

My OS now is Windows2000 Advanced Server

In RealPlayer go to Tools than prefrences or settings or something like that. Go to File Types or similar and there should be an option to keep the selected extensions only for RealPlayer. I'm sure that in the Nero prog. there's a similar program.

All the extensions have been associated with Real Player.
