How to get I386/SYSTEM32 folder for Win XP Pro install CD?

I have an install CD for Windows XP Professional and I386/SYSTEM32 folder on a CD is corrupted. I want to recover this CD and I was able to copy the entire i386 folder to my hard drive except for the SYSTEM32 subfolder.

Please tell me where can I get the missing SYSTEM32 folder. Can I download it somwhere or copy from another machine? I do have another computer with Win XP Pro installed - can I copy it from there? If yes, which files do I need to copy?

You can try looking in the Tips n Tweaks section on how to repair a scratched disc. That might be able to allow to you read the data off the disc, if the corruption comes from a scratch.
