BoardBabe Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 Hehe I see Seems dirms has more options though:dirms <drive letter> [DEFRAG, COMPACT, MOVE] [-q] -q means move file fast, don't move w/compact (compact=glacially slow mode)example : 'dirms c' This defrags, then maximizes free space (slow mode), then defrags againexample : 'dirms c -q' This defrags, then maximizes free space (fast mode), then defrags againexample : 'dirms c DEFRAG'example : 'dirms c CoMpAcT'example : 'dirms c move date -q' This moves by date (puts files with oldest dates toward the front of the driveexample : 'dirms c move lcn' This moves by lcn (keeps files toward the front of the driveOh just noticed on thing. I'm calling defrag BEFORE i cleanup (after WPI). hmm that's not good. then it defrags a whole lot of temp files that im removing right after WPI finishes. Hmm. Gotta fix that somehow
