hi all,

with the help of this site i've been able to make an excellent XP install Cd which has saved me god knows how much time at work...but there's one more thing i'd like to be able to do.

When we setup a new PC at work all the information such as memory/processor/motherboard/PC brand etc/serial number/computer name goes on a database..

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way I could probe the PC during the install and get that information automatically and have it then sent as an email to myself. So that if i'm setting up a new PC away from my office i dont have to write down the hardware details as they would be emailed to me during the install..

any help would be great

This is a email script page there you will have to modify it to suit your needs

E mail Script
