frey Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 (edited) Hi,I'm having a problem by integrating the Southbridge Driver for the ATI SB400 chipset into the unattended Windows 2000 installation. The driver is a kind of package, it consists of busmaster driver. s-ata driver and normal ide driver. Because the chipset is used in HPdx5150 PCs I use the following folder-structure: *\$OEM$\$1\chipset\hpdx5150\*.*In this folder there are the serveral subdriver in various folders. I also tried to merge them all in one folder, but this also didn't work. Every folder contains one driver specific *.inf file, which I also put in the correcht folder (..\$$\inf). I can't get the drivers working...could PLZ someone help me out?thx in advance frey Edited October 19, 2005 by Bâshrat the Sneaky
Bilou_Gateux Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 you can install only SMBUS and IDEATA133 with $OEM$ method.try Drivers From CD (AutoIt Method)SATARAID or SRAID64a are mass-storage drivers and you have to use TEXTMODE MassStorageDrivers Method to install one of them.
frey Posted October 18, 2005 Author Posted October 18, 2005 is this only for a cd-based unattended installation or does this also work with a network based one...because i can't find the winnt.sif file...i only have a file called "txtsetup.sif"...is this an equal pendant to the winnt.sif?
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Are you using RIS? If not, please specify...
