Booga Posted November 15, 2001 Posted November 15, 2001 Hi all!I´ve got a xp corp copied from my university, at installationthere is no cd key window, only a license agreement.Somebody who autodescribes himself as a microsoft employeetold me that in 30 days my copy would have to be verified asa corp version with a corp code or something...What do you know about this? Is this copy of a real corporate versiononly for 30 days?Greetings
Rick Posted November 15, 2001 Posted November 15, 2001 You will have to put in a VLK (Volume License Key) which should have been given to you by your university. You will not have to deal with WPA though.BTW--have you completely installed this version on your computer?Rick:cool:
Booga Posted November 15, 2001 Author Posted November 15, 2001 Where can I find this VLK?And, yes i have finished installing this xp, and works fine till now,i have change dates from bios and from windows two months fordward, and seems to work ok.Thnx
XxMaNsOnX Posted November 15, 2001 Posted November 15, 2001 It depends on their deployment method, but likely, you were given a custom made CD with their VLK already entered. Check the deployment sections of the XP Professional site, it goes into thevarious methods of deployment.
